The "SHAPE" Lake

The Club’s main fishing location is a rented lake located near the village of St Denis, approximately four kilometers from SHAPE. It is approximately 90m x 100m square. The depth varies from about 80cm to 120cm. It is pleasantly situated in the countryside and provides really excellent sport. Species in the lake include carp, tench, bream, pike, trout, roach, perch and rudd. With few exceptions, in the interests of conservation the SIAC operates a “Catch and Release” policy, which is strictly enforced. For those who like to fish during the hours of darkness, night fishing is permitted, although camping at the lake is not allowed.
